Here we go again

Weather: generally looming

I was sitting in Bean Factory (coffee place in NUS) today with a couple of friends, and we had really really stimulating conversation.
Yeah, right.
Here's what actually happened:
"What's the title of this song?"
"I'm not sure."
"This is, like, music you listen to in the middle of the night."
"Music you listen to in the middle of the night with one lamp on."
"And then you sit and stare into space."
"And then you start thinking of how horrible your life is."
"And then you're reading, like, some really really unhappy book."
"And then the music stops, and you sit in silence. And then you turn out the light."
"And then you cry. And cry and cry."
"And then you, like, climb into bed."
"And then you sob into your pillow."
"Trying to stifle the sound so that you won't be heard."
We laugh. A beat.
"I think we're, like, three really sad people sitting here."
