The word that Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw, concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

This shall come to pass in future days:

the mountain of the temple of the Lord

shall be set upon the summits of the mountains,

elevated higher than the hills.

And all the nations shall stream to it,

many peoples shall come to it,

and they shall say: "Come,

let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,

to the temple of the God of Jacob;

he will instruct us in his ways,

and we will walk in his paths."

For the Law shall come forth from Zion,

and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

He shall judge among the nations

and decide for many peoples;

and they shall hammer their swords into ploughshares,

their spears into pruning hooks.

Nation shall not take up sword against nation,

nor train any further for war.

O house of Jacob, come!

Let us walk in the light of the Lord.
